Born in Gifu, Japan; started his working career as a gym instructor/manager, followed by making furniture for 8 years. After experiencing flyfishing, he was able to pursue his dream of becoming a wood craftsman. In 2000, he established his business as a landing net maker, T-Craft. His aspiration is to make simple and practical landing nets, which he painstakingly creates from all-natural components. Lured by the sheer beauty of the net, one can not resist experiencing this workable art and appreciate its strength and style for years to come.
